Mike King-Prime has been a professional artist since he was 15 years old. He worked for 40 years as a commercial artist doing background scenes for names such as Hanah Barbera and Disney. He worked on the Scooby-Doo and Flintstone cartoon series.
Mike now paints for pleasure with his works much sort after with his work in many galleries.
Mikes tutorial day was well and truly an "outside the square" approach using acrylics in a watercolour style, using lots of water and washes with some great results. Those who attended learnt lots of unexpected tricks and ideas.
